Copyediting
SPECIAL: Typically a copy edit for a book costs somewhere between $350-$1,500. I am currently running a promotion. For the next 1,000 clients, I will do a copy edit for just $100 for up to 85,000 words. What Is Included in the Copy Editing:
Copyediting is about evaluating and correcting a document to fit a certain style (house, Chicago, AP, etc…), while ensuring that spelling, capitalization and punctuation are correct. Consistency, cohesion, coherence and clarity are top priorities.
The manuscript will be edited using Microsoft Word with Track Changes and Comments. I go line by line to ensure accuracy. I have professional experience editing all genres including nonfiction, fiction, and poetry.
